We are finally back with Tosh's 73 Ford F100 Dentside truck. After 6 months of waiting we are finally ready to get this truck back on the road after being parked for 16 years. This truck has a 302 Windsor V8 engine, 3 speed manual transmission, as well as a stylish vintage camper top. In this video we are installing a Hurst shifter, Holley RetroBrite headlights, recovering the headliner and seat, and installing a new gas tank and sending unit.

Ralphie's skills have improved so much over the last 3 months. He's much more confident handling drills etc and is working independently. He'll be doing his own 'will it start' videos before too long. 4th generation! Wawa is a girl after my own heart, car fixing and crochet. Little Squeezie doing her own thing. Where I'm from (middle of nowhere Iowa) we always referred to that style of exterior truck mirrors as "west coast mirrors". Those ones are just little guys compared to some of the gigantic semi truck looking mirrors guys use to run on pickup trucks back in the 80s and 90s, was basically the old school version of modern dodge guys driving around with their gigantic tow mirrors flipped up and extended out at all times.

I have always heard those mirrors referred to as "West Coast" mirrors. Strangely enough, Dayton wheels are called east coast wheels out west, and the western states call them east coast wheels. Tosh can call the mirrors what she wants, because it's her truck. Great Video. Miss Hurst was Linda Vaughn , who had a team of associates that were referred to as "The Hurstettes". Those hubcaps make squeaking noises when you turn corners. Most of them became bowls for feeding the dog. I thought everyone knew steel wool burns. Girl scouts use it to start campfires. Last comment, that squealing noise is likely to be the throw-out bearing.

Rislone oil treatment works well for stuck rings and cleaning up the valves I have used it on a old 61 ford P/U that smoked and it stoped with in 30 miles, Love the head liner great video love to watch you and your family.

Oil soaked steel wool can spontaneously combust. We had special containers to store it in the motor pool. When adjusting steering boxes, bottom out the screw then back it off a little.

We had an old Chevy pickup with three on the tree for doing work around our property and that is how I learned to drive. Fun vlog, work together well! FYI, before adding any thick additive i.e honey, stp, lucas have the engine to operating temp and running allowing additive to thoroughly integrate with hot oil. If that cold clump gets sucked to the pickup screen, usually ends in the knock knock knock of spun rod bearing which got starved of oil. Thanks for sharing!

hi y'all! enjoyed the video. I got stranded 5miles from home same way once. Fuel starvation,but it wasn't the pump. Had a load of paper towel in my fuel tank! Some jerk must of stuffed it in the gas stations pump nozzle! I always look in the nozzel now before pumping!
