Great review man. I don't know why so many people don't like the size of these carriers. The plate retention system lets you push the plates up nice and high still, and all the real estate on the carrier lets you store a lot more stuff that's readily available than a lot of the smaller carriers. Plus they just look damn comfy, are durable af, and seem to be an overall great carrier for the money (at least here in Canada).

Hey man great video. I've actually been trying to put something together for my wife as well. My wife has same problem in the upper torso region. And man it must be a chick thing cause she won't consider any carrier color other than black. I got her a mayflower apc which seems to give her decent coverage in the XL size as long as she wears a decent sports bra otherwise stuff starts trying to spill out the sides. As far as guns go, I havnt been able to convince her to shoot yet so no mag pouches molled up to her kit yet.

I would like to suggest a couple things sir. 1: that plate carrier is MASSIVE on your wife. It may be beneficial to purchase a smaller plate carrier for her. Unfortunately 5.11 doesn’t make smaller plate carriers so you would have to look elsewhere. 2: Upgrade the plates. Steel plates are stupid heavy and come with too many drawbacks. It would be worth spending a bit more money on some ceramic/polyethylene plates that’ll be a fraction of the weight. RMA Armament has armor plates made specifically for women. That may provide more comfort (I wouldn’t know, I’m a guy and only have heard about it.) 3: Don’t set up her plate carrier. Maybe advise some things but let her decide what she wants and needs.

Those are AWESOME suggestions...I did have the shoulders adjusted a little too big but she loves the plate carrier...i am definitely looking into changing out the steel on both hers and mine when finances allow...I really appreciate the suggestions and thanks for the advice brotha!

@@geekygunguy2158 no problem sir! Just giving suggestions from my experience because I had an extremely large and bulky plate carrier with heavy steel plates originally. Then I bought a Crye JPC 1.0 and got some RMA plates and I have never looked back!

You gotta look at least once a day, I do it multiple times a day and got a Crye Precision Airframe replica from Militech on an asian online store for $120 instead of buying it for $300 on their website, and it's LVL3A rated, not some airsoft shit.
