The fact that everyone is on the strict moms side is sad those poor children don't even get to have fun the barley even smile I think both families have room for improvement and they can both learn from eachother the strict mom can learn to enjoy things in life it's more then just saving money and cleaning you can go out and experience things with your family and kellie can learn to be more responsible and set your children for the future sadly life's not all sunshine and rainbows they have awful manners which won't do them any good in life. Why could no one think of having fun without spending money, like hiking to a new place, spending time at a beach, going outdoors to a park where they could invent their own games, invite other kids for a board game. Why does it mean that spending money = fun. Latoya will soon be on her own and if what kelly says is true about life being short, with no parents, no life skills, no house, no discipline Latoya will have tough time getting her life together.

I loved both households. A balance of both Penina’s budgeting and organising, time and money saving. And Kellie’s free spirit and fun, will create memories for kids. Yes kids need to learn responsibility and become capable. But also need fun memories and experiences as a family. Create a secure future for your kids, but live in the moments as well 👍🏽

Notice how dear old tight drawers daddy is not okay with spending money when the kids are having fun because he wasn't, but he's completely okay with spending over $200 on one meal because HE too was having fun. I think the parents are a bit selfish and some priorities need to change!!
@Vgallo Жыл бұрын
No I think you’ve totally missed the point, playing games at Timezone isn’t a wholesome family activity like having a meal together that actually provides them with sustenance as well, I think he just doesn’t view playing 80$ of video games a worthwhile activity and I gotta say he’s got a point. I didn’t think he was selfish at all, if that were true he wouldn’t of thanked her in the end and said he enjoyed his time together.

The OCD Mom says it will calm you. No it calms her because she's got some major OCD issues. The labeling and everything is over the top. Look in the pantry and grab what you need, it doesn't need to be in labeled bins.🙄 The other Mom prefers fresh food, creating lasting memories and smiles a heck of alot more. I'm more inline with Mom 2. I really felt for Saxby. Growing boys need plenty of food and a nice variety. Mom 2 hit the nail on the head with living life. Life is short, you can be responsible and create memories. It's all about balance.

We couldn't believe the ending where Penina decided not to go for teriyaki because "not wasting money on dining out when there is food in the freezer". She didn't learn a thing from this experience. Those poor kids' childhood memories are filled with chores and frozen lunches, no fun moments whatsoever, absolutely horrible. Not to say there aren't any good habits there but way too extreme. No surprise their son is going into the army, growing up with drill sergeant Penina. Serious OCD case here. What a nightmare.

As crazy as it sounds, I understand the budget mom. Honestly coming from a lower middle class family I've never been to a mall with my family, or dined out, or went to the cinema with them either. It's easy to say don't be frugal and live your life when bills don't haunt you and u have a sheltered roof above your head. That being said, there's no doubt she's far off in the extreme with frozen food. I sure was rasied poor, but not poorly. My parents would try to provide me all they could and we'd enjoy street food together as fancy food costs way more. Frozen food was out of question though. We'd all eat warm-home cooked meals at 11:30pm for dinner as my dad would work for 12 hours a day at times. As a child back then seeing him for dinner was the only time i could spend with him and I'd await it dearly. This video reminded me of those days.

Imagine eating slowly defrosted soggy white bread zip lock sandwiches every day of your life. She only buys the cheapest ingredients in bulk that can be made into a stir fry type of meal that can be frozen. Nice every once in a while but not every freaking day. No fish, no steak, no rotisserie chicken, no seafood, no turkey, no ribs, no fries, no burgers, no wings, no BBQ etc. Nothing fresh. The list goes on and on. The shocker is that she's a stay at home mom, fresh meals are the biggest perk for a family with a stay at home parent. Sure have a few frozen meals ready for when you don't have time to cook or you're low on groceries, but this OCD perma frozen crap is insane.
