This one hit my heart. I was in tears. Growing up I couldn't see my dad for reasons I didn't understand until I got older. When they are genuinely good parents not doing anything to harm the children there is no reason to stop them from seeing the kids. Loved the moral of this story.

A daughter needs a father, a son needs a father. But unfortunately, some people don't have a father for one reason or another. My father died when I had just turned 14. I miss him like crazy, but I am trying to make him proud. So, if you still have your parents, please, go tell them you love them, and if possible give them a hug, because that's what I should have done more of with my father.

I completely agree with your statement. Co-parenting is an essential aspect of raising children, particularly in the case of separated or divorced parents. Children need both of their parents in their lives, and it's important for parents to work together to provide a stable and loving environment for their children. Co-parenting involves effective communication, mutual respect, and the ability to put aside any personal differences for the benefit of the children. When parents are able to co-parent successfully, it can have a positive impact on the children's emotional well-being, behavior, and overall development.

Having a good relationship and your parent present in your life is priceless! The memories made last forever.
@retropixelsdigital
@retropixelsdigital Жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree more! Having a positive and supportive relationship with your parents can have a huge impact on your life, and the memories created with them can be cherished for a lifetime. Parents play an important role in shaping their children's values, beliefs, and behaviors, and being present in their lives can provide a sense of security and comfort. While it may not always be easy to maintain a good relationship, the effort put in can be incredibly rewarding. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this, and I hope that others are inspired to cultivate strong relationships with their parents or children.

Great words of encouragement! It's important to remember that we are all unique individuals with our own strengths and weaknesses. It's okay to have flaws and make mistakes, but we should never let others bring us down or make us feel less worthy. Instead, we should focus on self-improvement and strive to be the best version of ourselves. Let's lift each other up and support one another on our journeys towards success and happiness.

My dad was abusive to my mom when I was younger. It was bad. My mom tried to call the police and ask for help but our police suck and they ignored us. The relationship got worse. We left when I was around 2 yrs old now I’m 18 almost 19. At 17 my dad was a freaking crazy, he would text me that I shouldn’t be with my mom and that I should be with him and my mom is a bad parent etc… and then said things like if he dies it’s my fault. It really hit me badly. I was struggling with mental health a lot and my dad knew this, he just didn’t care all he cared about was himself. I’m still terrified that he’s going to come get us one day with his weapons. I knows he’s made some threats towards minors with them. Honestly I hope people never run into my father if he’s dead or alive just run from bad people. Trust your gut and protect your children and yourself.

I completely agree with you. Children have the right to express their feelings and desires when it comes to spending time with their parents after a separation or divorce. It's important for parents to listen to their children's wishes and work together to create a custody arrangement that is in the best interest of the child. Allowing children to have a say in this can help them feel heard and valued, and can also promote a healthy and positive relationship between the child and both parents

I grew up in a home where my family was broken, we all lived together. My parents were roommates, but the arguments over my brothers and sisters was damn near hell like. My parents grew to learn how to coparent and be better friends than husband and wife. For all you folks who have children remember y'all created something that you need to nurture together. Values and personalities are grown through a childs life and if you live having your children carry that burden, then they will never reach that potential you want them to. It's an ugly truth. The things you saddle on your children will weigh them down their whole life. Be better and discuss things behind doors and don't use the children as a weapon

Such a nice video-in the end… a broken home is so sad. I pray for all the kids out there trying to cope with this type of situation. “Kylie’s” sweet and endearing smile, voice, and personality immediately makes your heart break and melt for her. She’s definitely 💯 a great actor. For all the kids out there in broken families, someone’s feeling and praying for you! Be strong! Keep trying to pull your parents together! There’s always hope. All my heart ❤️

It is truly heartbreaking to see children struggling to cope with the challenges that come with a broken home. It is important to remember that they are not alone and that there are many people out there who care for them and wish for their well-being. As you mentioned, Kylie's sweet and endearing smile, voice, and personality can melt anyone's heart. It is always admirable to see children showing resilience and strength in the face of adversity. Your message of hope and encouragement for children in broken families is truly inspiring. We should all strive to support and uplift those around us who may be going through difficult times. With love, care, and support, there is always hope for a brighter future. Thank you for sharing your kind words and spreading positivity.

As a former Catholic, I believe that divorce should be outlawed! The children need both, a Mom, AND a Dad! Unless, if the spouse was ABUSIVE, there should be NO REASON, to divorce! Kids shouldn't have to suffer, for their parents' choices! Both parents, are extremely important, in their children's lives!

This video really hits me really hard. This goes the same with my mom and dad that happened to me years ago. My mom and my grandparents were the only family members that I’m close to, especially my aunt, uncles, and cousins. Except that my father had left and abandoned me and my mom as a child. I had a very terrible childhood. Things have changed for me and I still deal with it. And now, my father is trying to get back into my life and apologize to me for the things he did. 😢😢😢😢😢

I'm sorry to hear that you had a difficult childhood and can understand how this video would hit close to home for you. It's important to remember that forgiveness is a personal journey and you should take your time to process your feelings towards your father. It's understandable to feel conflicted and it's okay to set boundaries for your own well-being. I hope you have a support system to help you through this process and wish you all the best.

No child should have to suffer from adult problems that his or her parents are dealing with. It's really sad that selfish mothers and selfish fathers are using their children to hold a grudge against for former spouses & the child suffers through it. I hope Kylie was able to get to the beach as well. I also hope her father was able to get off the hook from child support.
