Hello Mazie. I bought the new 1150 PS2. I’m very unhappy with the temp controller and so far, pitboss doesn’t have an answer. My question is, are you able to get All temp settings. 200,225,250,275,300. The problem we, I say we, there are quite a few folks having problems with the settings. It will do 200,250 and 300. Nothing in between those. So I’m curious if the controller you have might fix my problems. Thanks

The temp settings are going to be the same as the previous controller.

Any concerns with hooking up a Chinese made device to your wifi network? How do you get inside your network from anywhere? Has to be a port that allows access to your device and if you can get to it - can China? Just not sure about all these wireless internet of things wanting to connect to my home wifi network.

Does it do the same presets as the regular controller or does it finally do the 275 and 325 degrees that all recipes seem to call for?

It's the same as the old controller as far as that goes.

Awesome video. Bought one but still need to install it. Would you say the new controller runs just as good as the old one? My controller on my Austin XL is spot on right now. Almost afraid to change!

I agree! I was nervous to make the change as well because my XL has never had any issues but I did a cook with it for about an hour and it held temps just fine so I'm happy with it!

The link hasn't updated yet. I know, give it time. I'm hoping they have one for the Austin XL 1000. I'm assuming it's just a newer version of the one you have. The controller seems to be a slightly different shape.

The controller isn't made to fit those but I've heard a few people say they're going to mount it to the Vertical. You could message Pit Boss on Facebook and see what they say about it. Sorry I don't have a great answer for you!

It goes from 250 to 300, so no 275 option. I hope that helps!

I just installed this unit yesterday, found that THE APP WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO USE PANDORA AT THE SAME TIME!!!! GRRRR!!! FIX THE APP PITBOSS!!!
