How to Fix Laptop Wifi Option not showing in Settings on Windows 11. If Windows 11 WiFi option missing or disappeared from the Settings and there is no WiFi settings. The WIFI options disappearing from all menus is one of the strangest and most infuriating issues I've ever encountered. I wanted to scream. -- Thank you Microsoft for your continued innovation and ease of use... -- Why couldn't there just be a pop up in the wifi menu saying "An issue has been encountered would you like to Reset your settings". Instead there just is no Wifi menu anymore. I even ran the WIZARD to diagnose network issues and it detected no problems. I felt like i was going crazy.

I tried about a dozen different steps and none worked. The HP troubleshooter had me power off my laptop and unplug the power cord. On start-up, I had to press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. After start-up, I had to shutdown and wait 3 minutes before start-up. It worked!

This may be a bit late so I hope you've already solved your problem, but something that worked for me was to just hold down the power button on my laptop for like 30 seconds for it to fully shut down. And then I just turned it on and the adapter was working again. I think you can either take out the battery from your laptop to fully shut it down or just hold the power button for a while like I did if you don't have a removable battery.

What am I supposed to do if this happens everyday? Everyday I type "wifi not showing on window 11", find someone's video, follow the steps. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've been doing this for the last 6 months. I know every method by heart and still search for new ways to fix this. I'm lucky if it gets fixed for the day but the next day I do this all over again. @@thatrandommhuman i was able to just re-download the drivers from the support website and it worked. Maybe try this method. Whenever you download it just open it and it should guide you through the installation. At least that happened with me.

These tips can work, but in my case they work sometime others they dont...i just discovered that especialy on LAPTOPS, the error can be resolved by UNPLUGGING the power supply cable. Just turn off your laptop, remove cable, restart on battery. Might work for some of you..even though it looks so silly! (just commenting after solving it lol)

The wifi option suddenly disappeared from my laptop 2 weeks back, including in my Network & Internet settings. I went through the steps in this video, various forums, as well as unplugging laptop and holding down power button, waiting for a few min. & restarting -- none of that was working. :( Forgot what led me to go back to trying to do a System Restore (clicked on the oldest date I could find before the wifi option disappeared) and IT WORKED!!! It took a long time for the System Restore to complete (I actually had to just let it run overnight and come back to it the next day), but once it finished, I went back to Settings -> Network & Internet and saw the Wifi option again. Hope this helps someone.

Guys pls long press power button for 30 seconds and wait for laptop to shut down (dont connect with charger) and then once it shuts down then open it again... problem should be resolved. It worked for me
