You need to see if your internet provider actually gives you 1000/1000 download and upload speeds A lot of the time, the upload is super slow on most plans Then after getting a fast upload plan, you need your own modem and router, a gaming one for example but dont get a cheap one

Network ping is different than in game ping. Your router will connect (usually) to a server/tower near your location for the best ping + speeds. When connecting to a game like Fortnite, you are connecting to a different server, likely further away from your exact city. Your router then has to connect to that server/tower rather than the one near you, which will make the latency increase... hope that helps

@@A17-bird most likely not packet loss only happens because of how many devices are using the internet sending wifi to all dofferent places so if he gets a powerline adapter it will use wifi only for him to use meaning less chance in packet loss and less ping in game
