Well done Amber! Hands down the best tutorial for removing density that I have seen. I would love to see you do more technical videos like this. You are helping so many with your explanation of the "why" and then moving into the technical aspect. This is a niche that is lacking on KZbin, I hope you fill the need, you do it extremely well.

I have this video saved and come back watch it when I need to thin one of my pieces. This is by far the best demonstration video with step by step instructions, that I’ve found on you tube. Thank you Amber!

Thank you so much for showing how to do a certain thing and stop as you’re doing it! Most everyone else does this fast but you can’t see exactly how to do it! ❤️🥰‼️

Great video, thanks! Would love to see a video on how to cut whispy bangs, particularly on a lace front topper, if it’s possible to cut bangs in a lace front?🤷♀️ I need bangs but don’t want a heavy blunt fringe.

Thank you for this lesson. I have a wig I’ve not yet worn although I purchased it last year because of this very reason, it’s too dense. Way too thick. I’m going to purchase some thinning shears right now.

I have done it I have ruined a wig too so I do save old ones to practice but I have found some of my Envy wigs are too dense so I lift up the top like you did , of where you would see and use thinning shears to thin them out

Hi, I'm a beginner in wigs and noticed on the wig you demonstrated; the front seems a bit too thick for me so how would you thin the frontal to make it look more natural to the shape of one's face? I hope my question makes sense.

great video, Thanks. I would really appreciate it if you could thin out the front of a short wig. Most of the short wigs have lots of hair in front thus making them look wiggy. thanks

Amber, I was a celebrity makeup artist for 30+ years...before becoming a filmmaker! ("who have thunk it"(?) You are a gorgeous, young woman! I must ask you, whicj eyebrow products you are using in this particular video especially, as I wear Palm Springs Blonde, Shaded Biscuit...It is a challenge to find the right shade of ash blonde to match the roots and still look natural, not too gold, red, or dark. Please do a video on this aspect of hairloss. Even an "old doggie" like me can learn new tricks! ( LOL) THANK YOU!

So my stylist taught me to use thinning shears with the blade down to cut baby hairs. Not to thin. Is that incorrect?

Could you please tell me if I should start the thinning on my full short wig in the front or start on the back. I knew I should have gotten a head for my wig. Thx Elaine

I think I'd start at the top and move down, but you can always bring to a professional or decipher depending on what feels comfortable to you
@simoneb41772 жыл бұрын
great video, thank you. The only unclear part for me was about cutting "all the way up to the wefting" (but careful not to cut the material); do you mean to also cut the permatease or don't cut the permatease? I assume you mean all the way up as you stated, lol. I just wanted to clarify before I try it ;) Thanks!

I’m still upset about my father and haven’t heard from anyone in my family except my cousin and she doesn’t want to see Jeff’s, honestly I even left a message with Peter but no call back from Mathew or Peter or Jeff because I’m not giving anymore money… I can’t I’m not a bank. But I feel like I have no one back home in Bow or Concord please let me know what is going on in bow because my dad always told me what was going on, who passed away, he always said when you get older you look at the obituaries with like in the family but I have no family and it hurts being alone Di, I still cry a lot about not having my mom and now my father and Wayne is gone. I don’t understand Mathew because we used to be close, I hope I can still call you just tell me if I’m to chatty i talk to much like my father… hope you are doing well and don and the kids. Hope your dad is doing as best as he can. When we lose our parents it’s like nothing from that generation I will not hear about the history when talking to them. I am sorry about your dad be the was always kind and never spoke to me if raising hell on my sleepovers and in the pool or playing basketball in the driveway, boy time flies by. Thanks again Di I’ll call you I have to fly to get my epidural John will be with me i hate the big needle and I only trust her since 2012 ❤️🐾🐾Julie

Sorry too slow for me…..on zaza or similar tutorial she basically dives on in and one snip 3 or 4 or 5 times ( dependant on length) on a whole section. A lot faster than this. I don’t thrive the patience for this way. Great results.
