Well! When you first put on Ocean in that gorgeous color it make your face pop! It's beautiful and boy do you carry off those auburns well. Your height is great for long or short wigs. I'm 5'4.5" and I think I'll have to watch it with "big hair" or lots of permatease wigs. Good review, thx.

Thank you for your reviews. I am going through some medical issues and am new to wigs. I'm having a hard time finding wigs that I feel comfortable wearing. Just finding colors that look good on me is another whole issue. The way you described the process you go through with that has been extremely helpful to me. I lean towards estetica wigs..the caps are so light on your head..that is a plus for me..I bought this wig primarily for everyday-ish.. vacation-ish.. t-shirt wearing hair.. love.. love.. love..the wave is absolutely perfect.. that's my take.. looks great on you!.. nice job!

Orchid.. I bought this one because so many women were loving her & she looks great on everyone ( in the fb groups) but mine.. doesn’t even look like everyone’s! She’s very wiggy with permatease with fullness on top & crown .. but then it goes curly with minimal hair.. even my husband was like., ( when I held her up).. how come we can see thru it ( on the nape area)? Tomorrow I was planning to just use a steamer & take the curl out.. I’ve already soaked her in cold water.. once.

I have Ocean in this same color. Do you know of a wig like her that has a mono part. The only thing I don’t like about Ocean is the permatease in the back. I don’t mind a little permatease where it doesn’t show. It doesn’t usually when there is a monopart. I like the type of curl Ocean has that is loose waves. I don’t like tight waves.

Love Ocean on you, too!!!!!!! I must need that one, too!!! Had it in the wrong color...yours looks amazing on you..as do all of your wigs! Amazing video! So how do you wash her? Pick it when wet? Or not touch it at all except a gentle squeeze with the towel???

Thank you! I would just wash as normal, wrap in a towel and squeeze, hang upside and scrunch and let dry... I would then use a wide tooth comb if needed when totally dry. That's it!

Hi, Danielle! Thank you so much! My number 1 workhorse wig of all time is Ellen Wille Girl Mono- hands down. I wore her for 4 months 4-5 days a week for 10 hour days, and she was still going strong! Here is a video I did comparing my well worn GM with a new one.... I honestly thought she was still looking great and rocking it until i saw a new one. I put the new one back in the back and kept wearing the old one after the video, lol. kzbin.info/www/bejne/np7WlXWletlrgdE. I've done the same with 2 others (in other colors) with the same result. I just looked through my wig wearing list and there is no other wig I've worn nearly as much. I do think that Kristi by Jon Renau wears really well, and so does Shayna by Tressallure. For me the shorter (above the shoulder, chin lengh or a little below) are the best ones. They just go and go.

I have two Oceans. I wanted the same color you have here, but they were out of the rooted version so I got the unrooted version. When I first took it out of the box, I didn't like it at all. I also think the side coverage is terrible. So I found the rooted version on eBay and snapped it up. Only problem with that one is I'm pretty sure the seller cut the lace and it's not very comfortable. (Also has a perfume smell that I don't like and can't seem to get rid of). I cut bangs into that one and planned on selling the unrooted version, but it has actually been growing on me and I think I"ll be keeping them both! I've had Alden on my list ever since I saw your review, but I'm rethinking that. I'd love the mono top, but I really like the style of Ocean! I'm not big on permatease but it doesn't seem so bad on this one because of the deep lace. All in all I think Ocean is a winner for the price.

@@heywigsister i"ll watch for your update, but I'm in no rush. First I was trying to decide between Alden and Lantana after seeing your reviews. When I saw your video when you were wearing Ocean in the car I added it to the list. Now that I have Ocean, Alden is on the back burner and i did see where you showed the tangles. I'll decide after i see your update if I want to keep Alden on the list, but I really do like Ocean other than the side coverage so if I do keep Alden on the lis, there will be a few others ahead of her.

I'm still not altogether sure about the color on me, but every time I see it on my dresser, I love the color so it's probably just a matter of getting use to it. It's also amazing how much difference bangs make! I'm still a person who wants bangs, but I really like Ocean without bangs. It''s just a whole different look!

Denise, you look beautiful in this wig. The color is perfect for your coloring and skin tone. 🙂👍 The longer styles really compliment you face shape. If this is too much permatease for you try Belle Tress Columbia wig. Its gorgeous and similar and no permatease. I love mine.

Hi Denise, I feel the same way about HD fibers too and at this point don’t buy HD fiber wigs because of that unless I can get one as a steal from wig outlet.com. I wear Columbia sparingly because of that, mostly for date nights. So far she’s holding up and I’ve had her for about a year. I really love that wig.

I definitely think Alden would be better for updos! For 3 reasons. #1 the length is more suited to them. #2 the waves that Alden has look SO GOOD in updos and #3 the density and permatease are a lot lower in Alden which makes updos easier. I find updos hard with Ocean and a big reason is that she has SO MUCH permatease. The funny thing is that I sold my Alden because I wasn't good at updos back then, and now I am totally regretting it because I LOVE doing updos with wigs now and would wear her that way all the time if I had her. Oh well, live and learn!

Probably Ocean because she is longer and a little straighter on the sides. Avalon will create more width on the sides due to the length and curl pattern.

Definitely more hair than Mila but the poof is different....Mila had this excessive poof on the top and sides but not the hair to support it whereas Ocean has the volume of hair to support the fullness... if that makes any sense.

I can’t do that much permatease. I like a little permatease on sides and back/nap. But not at top, by the part, or crown. I don’t want wig flat to my head with no permatease either. But don’t want helmet head either.😂 Estetica has way too much permatease for me. Estetica has great lace though.

Estetica's 30- 28-26 RT4 sure looks BLONDE and not just yours, every time I see it, no matter on who...it's NOT red! It's maybe a Strawberry Blonde! Estetica is sure pushing this color as a red this year. My 2 cents worth is: I prefer you in a more true Lt. to Med. auburn/red, actually if you, or anyone, wants to go red, well then go red! this is 95%blonde with a touch of strawberry. Why stick just one toe in the water? just give it a go and jump right in! Thats more than 2 cents and I'm sorry if my opinion isn't what you wanted to hear. It's just one persons viewpoint. BTW, the shadow rooting is great!
