In this video, I share my thoughts on the wig Mackenzie by Estetica in the color R30/28/26.
Correction: I called one of the Raquel Welch's colors Golden Nugget, I should have said GOLDEN RUSSET.

Beautiful hair! You look right at home in this long style...love that volume! I love Orchid too..same overall style, lace front, mono part and less permatease peeking through. Great review! TAZ💛

Thank you! I really like it too. The volume was even more obvious after putting on the other two and then putting Mackenzie back on...I was like WHOA! It's so pretty! Between you and Michelle Pearl, I guess I'm going to have to give Orchid a try. LOL! She loves that one too!

Oh no 🤦‍♀️am a 21 and a half circumference. This wig is going to be big on me. I just ordered it. And it seems that it is made for larger circumference.

Hi Stacy Im having a hard time finding a face flattering shape like this one in a just above the shoulder length(not a long hair person) In your opinion, do you think this could be cut to that length? Say up to the level of the first layer that starts at just below the chin? I know you probably hesitate to advise your viewers, but before I order it and have to pay that stupid restock fee, what do ya think🤓.... I’m a hairstylist btw But you know your wigs better than I and I really value your reviews!!🥰 Thx:)

Oh boy, you are right about being hesitant to offer advice about buying a wig to cut it. I'm just not sure. With the layering and permatease, it's misleading that it would look right if you cut up to a certain layer. I'm sorry I can not be more helpful with that. Also, I am seeing this 2 months after you posted, so did you end up buying it and cutting it?

Oh isn't it so sad about the visible permatease. :( I bet a rooted color would be better and it wouldn't show as much. I LOVE this style but that darn permatease is rough!

I notice Mackenzie doesn’t feature in any of your favourites videos, is that because of the permatease? I’ve been considering purchasing it. I like a well groomed look over messy curls and it seems Mackenzie offers that in a long style. Are there any drawbacks to the style I should think about?

I LOVE Mackenzie but yes, that permatease on top started bothering me when I got a couple style that were similar but didn't have the visible permatease. When I FIRST got it, I didn't care. The style is gorgeous! I just found I was reaching for other styles more often.

@@franceslock1662 Minka by Jon Renau is similar, although it's shorter. Statement Piece by Raquel Welch, it has permatease but has a mono part and you can't see the permatease like you can with Mackenzie. Those are two that came to me right away. Hope that helps! As I think of more, I'll let you know.

@@WearWigswithMe I buy my wigs from Cysterwigs and I bought one of my orchids from WigStudio1.com ....where do you purchase yours from ? Do you use wig shampoo or woolite? When I have soaked them in downey.....they seem like they have a film on them . I usually wash them in woolite....then spray them with Simply stylin.

@@dianedee33 I buy from the same! Oh, and I recently bought a JR Cameron off WigOutlet.com for 41% off! That site cam recommended and I received my Cameron in perfect condition. I feel the same about soaking in fabric softener and feeling like there is a film. I feel that way when I use shampoo for synthetics too though. I always think I don't rinse well enough. I need to try the Woolite method of cleaning. I think people have said they still soak in fabric softener (using it like a conditioner) after the Woolite cleaning.

I love this wig!!! I am so excited to have found your reviews. I have been searching forever for the perfect strawberry blonde for years. Love it. Wish I had not just order two new wigs. Okay I am liking the Raquel Welch also and the color! I do like Mackenzie better though. More lift and bounce!

Yay, another brilliant and entertaining review. It does look good on you and the colour really suits you too. It would be difficult to really see the dreaded permatese though as it is right at the top and crown of the head, so face on you get an eye full of lace front! good compromise. So looking forward to the next review (but no pressure :). I just received Gisele by Jon Renault and, oh my Gosh, I'm in loooove.

Thank you! You are right about the permatease being so far back and on top that most people won't notice. Ooooh, Gisele! That is a pretty one. When I bought Mackenzie, I kept going back and forth between Gisele, Mackenzie and one other. So glad you are loving it!

Thank you for such another wonderful review, I think Mackenzie looks Wonderful on you. I think the amount of permeates makes it look more real. Would it be possible to add a couple of clips at the end of the lace to hold it in place?

How many days of wear can you get out of Mackenzie? Another reviewer got 3 weeks of daily wear out of Angelica before it looked ratty.

Hi Frances! Sadly, I don't have an answer to your question because I don't wear the same wig over and over. Mackenzie is still wearing beautiful for me though! It definitely tangles so I gently remove all tangles as soon as I take it off.

Thank you for your review of Mackenzie and comparing the 2 Raquel Welch wigs. It's really hard to see the colors. It would be very helpful to see them in natural light. You look very natural in the long layered wavy wigs, must better than the curly ones. Mackenzie looks great on you!

butterflylove73 Hi there! Thank you for watching! Mackenzie can go in a low pony. Miles of Style or Blaze go in to mid-head pony tails (I hope that makes sense). Like a regular pony tail. I have reviews of both of those as well. If you want a high pony, like on top of your he’d, you are going to need to buy a pony wig.

Oh Mackenzie Mackenzie......such a beautiful wig but unfortunately one I just didn't get along with which actually made me sad. I didn't mind the permatease situation on top at all, but I could feel it all down the back side of the cap on mine, like a pillow on the back of my wig and I just didn't like the feel of that 😪 But it is a beautiful wig and looks positively stunning on you ❤❤🤗😊
