What's a finer hair texture?

Just like it sounds, the hair is very fine. There are different hair textures Some hair texture is fine, straight and silky smooth while other fine texture can dry with a soft frizz. There's also thicker hair texture (where the hair shaft is thicker) it ca be silky smooth like with "Mongolian textured" hair or it can be a bit course. This subject is very in-depth and can't really be answered with a few sentences. It's also very confusing and overwhelming for people new to the alternative hair world.
