Too many noisy O Gauge stinky diesels, not enough sweet-smelling steam engines. Time the noise of the diesels was swapped for the more welcome bark and whistles of steam engines galore. The storm would have caused the exhibition to be postponed, which is what should have happened. The group should have cancelled and sensibly waited till the next weekend. Better to be safe than sorry. Safety comes first.

@kellyashfordtrains2642 this was the first time i attended a show as a layout operator and I can really appreciate now how much work goes into these shows they can't just be stopped and swapped for another weekend the venue is booked for other things and also traders and exhibitors can't just change things over night, especially when there financially tied, am sure many who didn't want to risk the weather stayed at home 👍

Yes I agree unfortunately I was not able to make it anyway. I was going other things in the STORM, so get a gripe. Now at the age of 79, I have seen far worse storms, These days everybody stops for slightest thing.
