Ugh!😏🥰 Talk about tugging on my heart strings. My bf suddenly died almost ¹¹ years ago and recently I got urges suddenly to play these tunes. I'm wondering.. why all of a sudden am I getting these songs in my head .. in 3 days it is my long lost bf reminding me of him and how we would stay up partying for days, listening to these records and mixing for eachother while we kicked back and had a sesh. Amazing how music takes you back. I'm closer to 40 than id like to admit but this just flies me back to town in the early to mid 00's. Start your night at the 147, some pool with the lads before carrying on. Wonder bar, VR Bar or the old monk then against your better judgement end up in some shady place like the Barcelona or the pleasure rooms. Imagine telling Mike DiScala then when he was making this particular record he would be getting nominated for a grammy award with camelfat nearly 20 years later. Someone please invent that time machine asap. The street will remember, the kids these days I feel sorry for them. They dont even know we all had to be out by 2am haha and there was that place up by Garlands that used to stay open an extra hour. God what was that called; Funky box maybe !?! Edit I got sacked from both the RSVP and Norwegian blue in the same week for giving free ale to my mates and girls I liked haha
