Something I noticed about the two right away is something that you might not have noticed, and thus didn't mention, but the size of the fish and their plaques is different. If you look closely, Gen. 1's is wider than Gen. 2's. It's a very subtle difference, appearance-wise. I wonder if this means their mechs are different sizes as well... O_o

I have two of the second, more common version, and one has the Billy Bass cloth and the other has that other cloth with the stars on it.

Kristopher Walker As mentioned in the video the manufacturing I think uses random parts mixtures. It’s difficult to tell what version you have without playing it

For some odd reason, the company decided to speed up the songs due to the recordable storage on the IC chip or possibly to avoid copyright infringement.

Maybe. Or maybe they were limited on space on how much they could fit on the board, so they sped it up to save space. Both ideas are great!

@@secondbestsull7541 It doesn't solve the copyright infringement, it's still the original recording. But it's possible that they think it does. Or maybe they just wanted Willie to sound cute and give him a distinctive voice.
