Thanks for sharing this truth sis. Sadly, I think many of us already know how toxic these added hair/relaxers/hair products are. We just don't care, or rather, it is a price worth paying when accepting yourself is seen as too expensive. When you care what other people think of you, then a lot of these dangerous things don't matter. We go to get BBLs despite being the deadliest surgery. We ruin our teeth with veneers and skin with fillers and botox. All of this has a health cost, but we just don't care because what's the point of living a long life if it's a shitty one? A lot of us think that this is the only way to get love, affection, respect, so we'll always end up poisoning ourselves. Let's face it: falling in love with yourself is HARD WORK. Not everybody can handle it, so these industries are going to keep prospering, sadly. You are doing God's work by showing the self-love way. But some of us will always choose the other one. :(

No these dudes aren’t wearing “man wigs” after they constantly bullied BW for wearing wigs for more than a decade 😩 anyway… Im glad to see more and more content creators talking about the toxins in these hair “products”.

You look so refined and elegant. Very beautiful. I love your hair and makeup. Anyway, I don’t like wigs but I’m not confident with my natural hair atm - not because of texture (I love textured hair) but because it’s not at the length I’m comfortable at. I tried and honestly I cannot. That’s my biggest issue - my hair is growing longer anyway but still some time before I’m happy with the length
@Tinuola4 ай бұрын
Thank you for this comment.🤍 I can’t relate with the length dilemma. Some days I wear my Afro short, other times I add some kinky braiding extension to my twists for length. The goal is to love textured hair and wear it more. No strict rules here.🤗

Loved this video! Just to note for anyone considering wool hair, it is made from acrylic and when dipped in hot water the fumes from the steam can be unhealthy 🥲

Very interesting video. Definitely thought provoking. I've made the decision to abandon extensions, my hair is getting longer so what's the point,?😂 I've also thought about incorporating wool and threading into my hair routine so this video is very encouraging.

Attachments is wàhálà 😂 . It litters everywhere and it's not difficult to get rid of with one sweeping . I prefer wool.

I'm currently trying wool for the first time. I bought a roll of black, organic, Alpaca wool/sheep wool yarn for 5$ from Hobby Lobby and installed long, small twists with it; the same yarn used for crocheting. It's softer, has the same exact texture as combed out afro hair, and looks closer to natural hair than anything else. No heaviness, itch, weird smell, or scalp irritation either! When I grab my twists, it feels like I'm grabbing a small sweater lol I love it! ❤

Sis, human hair is horse tail, I sell it so I know for sure. Donor hair is real human hair from a human being, synthetic is the plastic, the blend is the horse mixed with the plastic.

wigs and fake hair are so bad but i see you wearing makeup which is just as bad Makeup is a sin introduced to the world by Jezebel 2King 9:30 And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.

It is so hard listening to conventionally attractive bw with less than 4c hair about embracing natural hair. The world is so hostile and anti-black
@janea80935 ай бұрын
Lmao she is Nigerian and loads of Africans have 4c hair. It doesn’t matter to be pretty or not have 4c hair. Just embrace your hair and people would start seeing your beauty that way.

I don't think that's what she meant. She says its hard to listen to someone with non- 4c hair saying "embrace your natural hair" because by and large the world does not.
