God bless Paula for being caregiver for her husband. She looked beautiful in all the wigs. Watched my mom take care of my dad to the end when he had dementia. Also, both my parents took care of dad's mom when she had dementia. You always need two wigs to rotate so you can extend the wear and tear. Even if you don't wear a wig every day, good to have a backup when the other is drying from washing it.

Good morning. Looks like I am the first commenter this morning. Every Monday I look forward to my Godiva fix video. Paula is so lovely. I can so relate, I have been a full time caregiver also. Unfortunately he died 15 years ago. I had long hair and after he died I cut it all off. Hilarious story about her standing in line behind you Ro and watching you whip out a wig from your bag and putting it on. Giggle. Wow, she looks great in everything. I can't choose. Yeah - Rochelle is gorgeous on her! I am wanting to sit in that chair:) So wish the shop was still open.

Rochelle for sure. I’m in a similar situation as she is as I’m now a caregiver to my husband but I need to still be his wife and I need to be me especially. I too have yet to wear my wigs but that is about to change. I’ve been dealing with so much grief that I’ve felt lost. My hope is to get myself feeling more like me again and wearing one of my beautiful wigs and makeup will make me feel lovely again. My hubby and I have been together for 44 yrs and though things are very hard, I can find joy in doing for myself too which will benefit him as well. I wish her and her husband the best

Dear Daize, first of all, you and all care givers are just amazing, strong people! My sister, Sheila, also was a caregiver for her husband for years and I saw first hand what it took. Many couldn't do it...so big hugs to you! What new wig wearers don't yet understand is how magical their wigs are for their self esteem, confidence and estrogen - we want to look and feel pretty! It doesn't have to take lots of time - but the personal love for ourselves and the lift it gives is monumental for many - especially when we're feeling lost and not in touch with ourselves. Something Paula shared with me after the video was that the wig also gave a lift to her husband when he saw her in it!!! Something new and unexpected - wigs are spontanious and fun - each with "her" own personality. Good morning ladies! Thank you for all your effort to share your wig story with us Paula, great choice with the Rochelle, you look beautiful! I will say, your eyes just lit up when Ro put the first color, Silverstone on you what a difference! And the Spring Honey, I cannot decide! You have so many beautiful options here to choose from and you're right, they all look so real. I can only imagine as a caregiver how popping on a wig in the morning frees up so much time and you look great and feel great and can get on with your day! I currently have 8 wigs in 3 different colors and 3 different styles, I like to have 2 of the same style and color so I can rotate them. I have a similar profile as yours Paula so, this helps immensely to see what the styles would look like on me. I'm seriously considering Katie. Thanks for the tips Ro on how to choose a wig if you can only choose one. Honestly, every time I see a video, I want all the wigs and all the colors. Great point about what considering what we are doing throughout the day to decide what style is best suited. Reminder ladies with Thanksgiving and Christmas cooking and baking, Ro has a video on how to protect your wig from the heat. Up at the hairline, even the tabs! It becomes a mantra when getting ready.
