I wish Jon Renau would come out with a 9 or 10 inch wavy topper. We short petite ladies often have smaller faces, and we look ridiculous in 12"+ length toppers as our necks disappear, and it looks like our heads are resting right on our shoulders. It's easy to find short toppers (5" - 6") and regular/long toppers (12" to 20") but there's that sweet spot of 8" to 10" that isn't addressed.

Love that! Is there something just like that but without the gray in it, but blonde instead in human hair?

Can you tell me the density? Looking for a very low density piece with that big base. You look beautiful in it.
@Wigsbypattispearls2 жыл бұрын
Hi Cathy! Jon Renau defines this as average density. Since it is such a large base topper, it will have quite a bit of hair, and with it being wavy, it can feel or appear more dense than a straight topper. We have experienced this topper to be quite dense. However, if you love everything else about this piece, you can always have it thinned out. For lower density toppers and wigs, check out Ellen Wille brand, as they tend to have low density pieces: www.wigsbypattispearls.com/hairpieces/where/manufacturer/ellen-wille.html?m-layered=1

Patty, why would you recommend this topper to a client instead of a wig? Even a handtied, monofilament wig? This style of topper can be amazing for some women with a lot of hair loss on top and I have always recommended they buy a wig. Can you tell me what you see as the difference between this topper and a similar type of wig?
@Wigsbypattispearls2 жыл бұрын
Hi Bunnie! Whether someone gets a wig or topper is usually just personal preference. Typically, the best clients for this large base topper would be those who have a lot of thinning or loss on the top of the head but have enough on the back and sides. This topper in that case would be to supplement and blend in with the hair they already have. However, some people with a lot of thinning on top may just prefer a full wig-- even people with minimal hair loss can prefer a full wig. Something to have your clients consider is that with a topper, they will usually have to style their bio hair to better blend with their topper, while with a full wig, they don't have to style their bio hair at all. Hope this helps!❤

I have a 23.5 in circumference. Can't find a wig to fit. Will a topper work? My hair loss is on top and back.

Hello, I thought that with a topper you had to leave your own hair down also....
@Wigsbypattispearls2 жыл бұрын
Hi Cynthia! You're right, toppers are made to be worn in addition to your bio hair and blended together. In Patti's case, her bio hair is very short, so she can't wear toppers. Patti wearing this is for demonstration purposes only so she can show viewers this topper's features and how it looks on.😊

clips look tight on existing hair. after a while, bald spot where clips were.
@mickieseals30162 жыл бұрын
You may have it clipped to tight
@deborahahonen69492 жыл бұрын
I always sew in more clips and vary which ones I use. Five years of wearing toppers with no hair loss from clips.
@Wigsbypattispearls2 жыл бұрын
A great thing to do is to sew in extra clips and vary the ones you use from day to day, just like someone commented below. This is a great way to reduce strain on the same delicate hair every day. You can also wear a larger topper size so that the clips aren't being clipped so close to where your thinning is occurring, since that hair is already so fragile. Having a larger topper means the clips will fall more towards the sides of your crown or side of your head, where there is usually more hair to grab.
