Forget about Nunchucks, go for the Classic Joystick or the NES mini Joystick or the SNES mini Joystick. They use the same I2C connector, but offer real buttons and dpad and more.

Really hoping for a twin gimbal (used in RC controllers) game pad. Numb chucks are very cool. Thanks for going over it especially the adapters I’ve seen them on AliExpress and haven’t really had a use for them.

Does anyone know how to use the "presence" pin on the nunchuk? It seems barely documented and nobody uses it, but I'd like to use it as a check to see if the controller is plugged in before trying to talk to it.

Hi there, I just wanted to ask what the int value would be if the joystick is moved down the y-axis or the same for the x-axis. It says the values are from 0-255 on the y-axis and the same on the x. Does this mean that the bottom of the y-axis is equal to 0? Or is that -255? Thanks in advance
