Reminds of a TV show with a similar premise. Guest stars answer a series of question to earn money for charity, but one of them, a cheater, has all the answers in front of them. At the end, everyone votes for who is cheating. Getting it right and you keep the cash, accuse an innocent, and your money goes to the cheater (except for a few special questions).

The descriptions of the Sneak's powers seem to indicate that the "rumbling" does tell them the answer? Otherwise it would literally just be a handicap without giving any benefit if it rumbled loudly over every option and not just the correct answer. The whole point of being the Sneak is having something that the other players can identify as weird, but that same thing also lets the Sneak win the minigame, so even if the other players noticed the louder rumbling, the Sneak could get a perfect score every time.

This was my absolute favourite mode in Wii Party as a kid! I'm so happy the gang is back with more Wii Party content. I'm going to bet that Choc will win this one! Word Bomb is a really fun mode so that would be cool to see. But Hide and Hunt is the absolute best Wii Party mode.

Fun Fact: In this mode, 5 minigames go unused. They are Derby Dash, Shifty Gifts, Crash Balls, Tropical Punch, and Quicker Chipper. All of them are most likely not used since the cheats chosen are incredibly obvious even if the sneak attempts to blend in and gives the Sneak an unfair advantage in the minigames. In Derby Dash the sneak's horse could continue accelerating even after all of its stamina is gone, and they can press B to let the horse get tired again. In Shifty Gifts, Crash Balls, and Tropical Punch, they just lose the ability to lose the game unless B is held. No matter how much you shake the controller, dive for open holes, or get hit, you just can't lose the fucking game unless you hold B. In Shifty Gifts it literally won't let the gifts fall as if the gifts themselves are deciding that having an atom worth of overlap is enough to balance it. In Crash Balls the equivalent of a literal forcefield surrounds every open hole, preventing you from falling in. In Tropical Punch the only way they can lose is if someone manages to push them off the edge since punches just knock you back a short distance. In Quicker Chipper, the sneak will always make a shot into the hole regardless of charge level and holding B removes the accuracy.

I’d say this game is more like Fakin’ It from Jackbox than Among Us. In Spot the Sneak and Fakin’ It, all the players are given a single task that they do at the same time. Then there’s a defined period of time where they pick the Sneak/Faker. In Among Us, everyone is pretty much left to their own devices with their own list of tasks, only coming together for a report or an emergency meeting. There’s less structure than Spot the Sneak.
