I'm convinced this is as good as you can get for one round. Not only did he have an absolutely perfect round, as far as lowest practical scores for each hole, but got lucky on #9 for the Albatross. I have eagled #1, and I've gotten a couple hole-in-ones, but I haven't been able to put them together for a super round. -11 is my best, and I was inches away from -12.

Skill level is the real guide in this game. You must be consistently good to reach a high mark. I've topped out at 1787 (must get a life) and wonder how this compares. I usually hover between 1650 and 1700. At anything over 1700 to go up you need -10 over nine holes, while on Expert you may go up a little with -3.

Don't know about you, sprooks, but I find Wii golf to be an excellent relaxant after a busy day at work. I tend to concentrate on skill level by playing Expert. It's just so difficult to score consistently at -10/-11 over nine holes, whereas at 1800 a -3 on Expert will take you up 20ish. I've had numerous -11s over nine, but have lipped out twice on hole 7 to fail in a bid for -12. It'll come. For anything lower luck is needed. That guy who scored -14 without indicators - extraordinary.

wtf on the last hole!!!!!!!!! great putting too! when i got the wii on the first week it came out i had a double eagle on the second par 5 (idk what the hole number is). my best has been -9

Nearly impossible to do better than that. Fantastic. Half the time whenever i go for the green on hole 7, i get in trees for OB. And i just never get all the putts right. Even this golfer was close to the bunker twice and the albatross was amazing. My best was -9 and i think i had 2 eagles

How is it possible to shoot through the trees on Hole 7?! You can't do that!! Any time me or my parents tried that, we hit the foliage and fell pitifully into the Out Of Bounds, so we have to use the dog-leg route!

DCLeadboot you are supposed to hit it through the trees unless you get bad wind sideways. The best way is to aim for where the farthest the blue sky comes down.

@gooser1981 Yes, eagle everything, and double eagles on 3, 5, and 7, and 9. So actually I'm coming up with -22. Nobody will likely ever come close to that. I'm an excellent putter as well, but I can't always get the long shots with the wind just right. But who can?

I find a good test is to try to make a new Mii character (skill level 0) a professional within three nine-hole rounds. The best I've managed is -28 (-9,-9,-10): it took me to 999! It's a real challenge of skill and consistency.

the players name isn't different its the same the words that come up in the center of the screen before each shot isn't the name it is saying shot 1 and shot 2 and so on and so forth, the players name is in the top left hand corner before each shot.

It seems possible to make a hole-in-one on the 7th, and then you can actually shoot -22! Theoretically. You would need some very good wind on the 8th for instance ;-) I just shot -12 today btw. And now Im gonna stay away from Wii for awhile and try to get a life instead!

It's not 15mph, it's 15 m/s (metres per second). I understand that (a) in the American version the wind is measured in mph maxing out at 30mph and (b) 30mph equates to 15m/s.

As wind speed in the metric system is metres per second, and also, you might not know this, but a yard is technically both customary and metric, as yards are used in this metric-system video. The yard is not a standard SI unit, kind of like the Celsius (Centigrade) degree of temperature is not SI, but the Kelvin degree is. Not to mention tonnes, which is sometimes called metric tons, are not SI units, but grams are.

Me and my dad play this all the time and my highest is -11 and my dads is -12. I swear couple big kids we are. But -13 is the highest with the winds being kind to you. -12 is the theoretical highest and any point with any wind no matter what. But -14 you are very lucky that last one went in the rest of you game was great tho.

This guy is in Germany I believe, so the 1 M/S is different than MPH. You can see in hole 2, the arrow was red even though the number was only 13.
