And also, upon further inspection, the second one clearly uses textures taken straight out of Billiards in Wii Play. The only legitimate hidden file this person actually sent me was the golf course shown at 8:00. Everything else was sadly fake.

15:00 That seems to be an early version of the castle model from New Super Mario Bros. Wii Sports was in development at the same time as NSMB, so it's likely the teams working on each game were sharing resources for testing or as an easter egg. The low poly count and low texture resolution, makes it apparent that the model came from a DS game.

I have a theory about the purple castle in Golf. I think the castle is an extract from New Super Mario Bros. DS, because the castle in that game has an uncanny resemblance to the castle in NSMBDS. To add to that, the unused “Blue Flag” texture is on the front of the castle in NSMBDS, used as two front windows. I don’t know why the devs of Wii Sports chose to carry over the castle from NSMBDS, but what I do know is the castle is definitely pulled from that game.

While it may be something anyone can play, it does take some level of fitness to play well. Obviously, with Wii Sports, all that is required is wrist motion accuracy which is easy to cheeze, lol 11:48 A lot of game developers would use stock images of places on the Mediterranean. This looks like one of those instances. Have ya ever covered the Dissidia games? I'd definitely be interested in seeing that.

I really liked this video! Was very fun to watch :) I‘m that type of person that LOVES looking behind the scenes of something, especially in games. I love the aesthetic of low res textures and low poly models, something you would see in half life. That’s why Half Life is also one of my favorite games of all time, because of the aesthetic look. Same goes to Wii Sports. I love looking at unused files. I just imagine that the employees of Nintendo at the time of making this game must’ve thought - „Sometime, one day, someone in this world will find these unused secrets. Maybe in 2010, or in the far future of 2020... Just imagine what next gen consoles there will be...“ I‘m a weird guy I know lmao but I love thinking about this! Great video❤️

At 15:00, while this looks similar to mentioned castle, it’s actually the castle from the mini-map of *New Super Mario Bros.!* The only difference though is that the castle found in golf doesn’t have the window above the front door. The window texture is still found in the castle texture via the files, further proving this castles original debut in NSMB, as these are likely the same sprites.

4:03 Similar things happen in most valve made source games. If you look the the .VPK files, you will find many weird things that are usually from other games that are in the files for no reason. There's also usually stuff that shouldn't be in the files, like a picture of a cat (in Half-Life 2) and textures from a secret unreleased test map from Half-Life 2 (In Day Of Defeat: Source).

Hezakiah Mecham Nope! It’s an indie platformer, kinda. There’s platforming but still a lot of story. I’d highly recommend it, if you’re a bit older. It does contain cursing and the such, but it’s a good game.

New Punch Out Theory: Matt is actually Doc Luis and you are playing the game as his first prodigy, but then you unexpectedly bested him. He then got deprrssed, but had a buttload of money, so he decided to take a vacation to an island. Wuhu Island. (See where this is going?) Where he became the Basketball champ. Guess who came to crush his dreams a second time? You. You didn't realise that you were making him sad, but continued to beat him at everything. And he resorted to chocolate bars. Lots of them. He got so out of shape that he couldn't box anymore. So, he chose another successor to take you down. YOU ARE MR. SANDMAN. The nickname given to you because you avoid punches as if they just go through you like a knife through soft sand, AND because you were dubbed King of Wuhu Island. After being bested by Little Mac, you also went to chocolate. Then, you needed to get fit. WII FIT..... Okay, I know that's a *bit* of a stretch but I thought it was an amusing thought nonetheless.

When you were talking about the tennis game, there is a blue training court that you play in during the challenges part of tennis, it only appears at a 1/15 chance if you load the tennis positions part of tennis. The blue court can appear in the basic mode of tennis.

5:57 Speaking of Bowling, here's a story that literally nobody will believe because it's only possible with the pea-sized brain of mine. Alright so long story short, I got a gutter ball with bumpers on. If you don't know what bumpers are, they're the barriers stopping your ball from going into the gutter. Well, me having a pea-sized brain, decided I could just throw the ball into the air. (I didn't know how to bowl correctly at the time so thats why there were bumpers and why I threw the ball into the air.) And the ball... Landed in the gutter. WITH THE BUMPERS ON. Literally everybody at camp, including me, burst out laughing. So yeah. You're not gonna believe me. I understand. Because I made the impossible possible that day. I'm better at bowling now... I think.

This is my theory of the billiards theory. Back in the Wii’s development they had two sections for games. I can’t remember the names but there was one for games that were in Wii sports. And one that was used for Wii play.. and than I’m assuming they used billiards from the Wii play game as a placeholder for whatever. Since it was still being worked on
