Quick lesson on scoring in bowling, for anyone interested: The best way to get top scores in bowling is by getting strikes, obviously. But strikes are a bit more complex than just "a lot of pins", though. Strikes are special because you get bonus pins from strikes depending on what the results of your next two throws are, which is why the scores on frames with strikes don't appear right away. So say you get a strike on frame one. Alright, nice. Now, on frame two, you knock down 8 pins. Now the score for your first frame is 18. You still have one more throw that counts on that first frame strike, though! So you throw again, and knock down the remaining 2 pins. Nice, your first frame score is a 20! Spares actually work very similarly, however only your next one throw counts towards the score for that frame, rather than your next two. So on frame three, let's say that you knock down 7 pins with your first throw. That settles your frame two score. You spared in frame two, which is worth 10 pins,, and got a 7 with your first throw in frame three, which means you scored a 17 for frame two.20 pins in frame one, 17 pins in frame two: you're now at 37 total. That's the number that will appear on frame two. Now let's say for your second throw on frame three, you only knock down 2 of the last 3 pins. Uh-oh, you left that frame "open".No spare, no strike...no bonus on frame four. This is why it's so important to at least make sure you knock down all the pins in each frame. Do that much, and your score will really rise quickly. Lastly, frame ten is special. As you could see from this video, PBG and Jeff both spared frame ten, and they each received a final "bonus" throw. These "bonus throws" aren't really bonuses or anything, they're just necessary to finalize scores on frames nine and ten. For instance, if you get a strike on frame nine, then you get a strike on frame ten, and the game ended there...well, you wouldn't have a final score, since you've only thrown once since frame nine. Since your next two throws after a strike count towards the frame's final score, you need to throw again to settle the score on frame nine. Same deal on frame ten: you threw a strike on frame ten, so you throw twice more to settle the final score on frame ten. Since PBG and Jeff both spared on frame ten, they each got one extra throw to settle the score on frame ten, since your next one throw after a spare counts toward it. This scoring setup allows each frame to be worth a maximum of exactly 30 pins. After all, if you get a strike, and your next two throws are ALSO both strikes, 10+10+10=30. And so because there are 10 frames, a perfect game would be exactly 300 pins. Hope that made sense!

I am primarily left-handed; but I do a lot of things (like using a mouse) with my right hand. As far as the Wii Mote went, I went both ways. If I was using the nunchuck I held the Wiimote in my left hand so I had more control over the analog stick; but if I was just using the Wiimote I would hold it in my left hand.
