Wii Sports Resort - Table Tennis - Return Challenge - 999

This is my best score on the Table Tennis Return Challenge. This is the maximum score of 999. I started the video just after I reached 200+ returns. I could only fit the last 800 points in this video for it to be 1 part.
This channel features instructional & highly edited video game guides, walkthroughs, speedruns and other uniquely transformative videos. My own personal gameplay, extensive editing & creative input are clearly added into each video, ensuring that all videos adhere to KZbin's partner program guidelines. My walkthoughs take tremendous amounts of work & editing so that all videos are straight to the point & can be used as professional video game guides. This isn't terribly hard, but it's a real test of endurance to make it to 999. Oftentimes, you will get a very tough ball to return, and it only takes one mistake to end your run. It is simple, but still takes a lot of skill and concentration to reach 999.

The reason I don't play backhands is because the game screws up all the time when switching from a backhand shot to a forehand shot. Sometimes the game will misread it and make it impossible to even hit the ball.

It's a pretty difficult challenge. Its not too difficult to keep a good streak going but its easy to have bad luck where you get out of position and sometimes have an impossible or near impossible return. That caused me to die in the 900's at least 3 times.

I recorded while I was playing on a DVD recorder, then put it on my computer and compressed the video.

I got to 999 once before. Table tennis was my specialty so I did very well on that but can't even come close to your record on other games.

Great job. Once you start getting past 100, you can easily improve and before you know it you'll hit 300+. Sometimes you can get a case of bad luck though and be in a very poor position to return a ball.

I noticed you don't use back hand, i do, and often times it leads me to messing up, would you suggest trying all forehand?

Help me, All of a sudden when I switch to a backhand and then turn my hand back to regular position,,the Mii sets the hand correctly and then suddenly turns back to the backhand position. This screws me up and I lose. This never happened before but now it always does.

after i got 999 i kept going to try and get the 100 without hitting his face stamp but i counted 84 before he threw a nasty curve at me and I smacked him right in the kisser...sadly i didn't get extra points after 999.

At 5:00 you beat my record (588 pts). I think I can improve it, so I'm not giving up. I usually mess up when I have 440 points or so. That guy throws me either slow or fast balls. If it's a slow one, sometimes I don't let it bounce. And if it's a fast one, I usually let it land on the ground before I hit it. He catches me off guard with those ones. =/
