I have a soft spot for the Wii U. Xenoblade X is still locked to the console, and it is an incredible game. Yoshi's Wooly World is also best played on Wii U, and it's the best Yoshi game since Yoshi's Island on the SNES (still not as good, but the best effort since then).

How is that insane? Steam deck is designed for gaming and a macbook isn't, especially a 2015 Mac, that's even older than a 1000 Series nvidia GPU, the steam decks GPU power is about on par with a 1050.

My games won't appear in Cemu, and every time I click "install game title" the program crashes. I even added Cemu to Steam to try and set the properties to be compatible with other Protons, but crashes the same.

Fantastic Video just got my own deck last week and this Video was exactly what I needed Happily playing Wind Waker HD and Mario Kart 8 and its a blast. Quick question idk if i missed it in thr video but how do i open the Cemu Settings Screen while in game i know the L back buttons open the 2nd Wii U screen but im not sure which button opens the emulator settings themselves while a wii u game is played from Steam Game Playing mode

I believe they changed the shortcut. You can find it on desktop mode in the emudeck app in the emulator settings

I have a situation with certain Wii-U games where I will be playing the game and open the menus but the menus are not displaying because of the game pad dual windows in certain games like wind Waker, how do I access certain game menus that are tethered to the game pad on steam deck?

I tried playing twilight princess in gaming mode but it won't recognize the controller input, even though I already configured it using cemu in desktop mode? I also tried resetting the configs in emudeck but there's still no input

You don’t have the Proton version it’s looking for. You can change proton versions in the Steam Deck. I show it in my 360 on Deck video

On the native version of Cemu, it seems like the game is a bit slow. It shows as 30fps, but the game moves very slow.

No it’s been annoying, exact same files that I used on my old steam deck 8-9 months ago when I used to have it and I just got an OLED and try doing everything again and every other console work except for Wii U. I can play if I launch cemu from game mode.but not the same.

I am having issues when it comes to the parser part. The games work on CEMU and they show up like on your video but steam can't seem to find the games which suck! I love the quick game option and art work on my library instead of hiding it inside cemu :( . Any clues? Games work fine and I am able to play them so it can't be corrupted files and I also have the games in the correct roms folder. Its driving me nuts haha

@@VideoGameEsoterica I did, a lot, it never helped. Only thing I could figure out was to find the various hidden folders of the native version and delete all but one controller config and set that everywhere. Resetting the Config would make the problem come right back.
