Playing this cup in single player is hell. While you have to control all of you teammates independently. The CPU acts as 4 different players with the same idea.

Looking back at some good memories it was like 5 years ago that I finally beat that cup solo, and just last week decided to clear fire cup on extreme mode, it was challenging but I did it. This game was a part of my childhood ant it will never die for me.

Here's a quick tip for people who get to the striker cup in single player mode. Don't bother focussing on megastrikes and skill shots because it not only takes too much time but your AI teammates won't even cover for you. Try to focus instead on passing, tackling and making normal shots.

I still remember beating this for the first time at 2am, Striker Cup Final Game 3 in Sudden Death Overtime. I did this on single player and when I scored in overtime, I just went absolutely crazy. Man that was so hard. So many hours playing and then finally accomplishing it was amazing! :D

I'm getting ever so close to winning the Striker Cup, but it's been tough. My road so far: won the Fire Cup on my first time through (2-1 in the series against Bowser Jr.), won the Crystal Cup after a few tries (perfect record through round robin, tournament, and series when I won), and after 8 times through, I finally got to the Striker Cup finals, but was swept by scores of 6-2 and 5-2. 99 defense for the goalie is right! My stat line for Game 2: 33 shots on goal, 2/29 on megastrike goals.

@markansas use 2 boos and hammer bro and train on using the dekes and the chip shot, of which waluigi, boo hammer bro and toad can do, u chip it and the 1-2 secs after u press be if u are chasing the ball u will shoot it it's best if u are closer to the goal though
