okay.. so first things first, there are no fouls Secondly, the light that comes out of the ball decides how fast the shots are gonna be.. Purple is the worst, white is the best.. You can charge the ball by passing, especially high passes (hold Z while passing), but also by shooting or simply charge it a tiny bit before shooting the super shots are not affected by that btw i'd really recommend you not to play with toad, as he one of the weakest chars in my opinion, decent movement in my opinion, but especially on the harder cups, the cpu will allways put one of his chars between you and the goalie, so the goalie wont be set on fire you might wanna try arround with the special ability of some players I used to go with hammer bro, dry bones and shy guy, as all of their special abilities are unblockable if you do it right btw, the character special abilites are also done by charging the shot similar to mario's ultimate you can use items on C and play high passes on Z the cross on your wii remote if I remember that correctly ohh also, if you domt control your team, they are almost guaranteed to suck ass, so make sure to switch quite often

I feel like the tutorial would've come in handy, for helping show you how to use items and the offensive moves. Toad just jumps forward so it's not the most helpful (compared to like Hammer Bros. throwing a hammer down to hit anyone close, or the Monty Mole digging a hole), however his power shot is like a fireball. If you're too far to slide or tackle someone, try throwing your items at them to disrupt instead. Plus you get items every time they hit you if you aren't carrying the ball, or when you do a strong enough shot
