Wike Accused Of Embezzling N9BN From Rivers, Defies Threat By Fubara’s Men| Trending W/OjyOkpe

The Governor of lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in a viral video, confirmed that invesitigation into the death of Afrobeats singer, Mohbad is still active. Sanwo olu made the comments while responding to a journalist seeking justice for Mohbad’s death.
The journalist also recalled how the governor gave his assurances in the case of 12 year old Sylvester Omoni who died on November 30th 2021, from injuries allegedly sustained while in school.
As the political crisis continues to rock Rivers State, the Governor of the State, Sim Fubara appears to have adopted the trend of his predecessor, FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike by having a live band accompany him at public functions.
During the flag-off of a 20,000 housing unit project for low-income earners in Ikwere LGA a live band belted out a song with the lyrics ‘Dey your Dey’ which means stay on your lane to cap off the governor’s speech.
Lawmaker representing Akuku/ Asari Toru Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Boma Goodhead, along with other protesters over the weekend in an apparent dare, warned Wike not to return to the state he governed for eight years.
Goodhead also called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to call the former governor to order, vowing never to fold their hands and watch him take over the state.
The minister despite the threats retuned to Rivers State over the weekend, to attend a funeral he was received by a crowd of supporters.
Nigerians have called for the arrest of an Akwa Ibom State lawyer, identified as Ekere Ebong who was caught in a viral video brutalising his wife at their residence in Uyo, the State’s capital.
In the five-minute video, the woman was seen lying on the ground with blood coming out of her mouth, begging her husband to stop the beating.
The woman was rescued by her neighbours, In the video, one of the neighbours could be heard saying the lawyer beats his wife almost every night and that the abuse has been going on for at least four years.
In Imo state, citizens are calling on the Governor of the state, Hope Uzodinma to make good on his election promises as the month of December draws to a close.
The Governor during a campaign rally in September, ahead of the governorship election in the State had promised to empower 4,000 youths in the state with employment abroad.
Dr. Reuben Abati, among other exceptional men have been honored at the Men of Honour, Median Awards acknowledging their outstanding work and commitment in their respective fields.
The organizers of the event emphasized that the award creates a space where the spotlight not only highlights professional accomplishments but also illuminates the stories of men making meaningful contributions to society.

Can you monetize waking up early in the morning to get the children ready for school, drop them off, come home clean up the house, put clothes away or washing clothes or put them in the washing machine, dry the clothes, prepare lunch, rush to get kids from school, help them out with home work, make dinner, feed and put them to bed, still give unreserved attention to the husband and others things that I can't remember... Housewives are the real deal. It's only men who are cowards that brutalize their wives physically, socially and emotionally. Our wives, mothers and sisters deserve a lot of flowers. I know some of them can be toxic and obnoxious, still it doesn't justify brutality...
