The event was billed to start at 10:00 am, the security personnel who were to control the people were to resume at 8:00 am before the arrival of the beneficiaries and the stampede occurred between 6:00 am and 7:00 am. Why were Queen Naomi, Alhaji Oriyomi and others arrested for the stampede when the stampede occurred before the commencement time of the event? Can someone please explain the reasons for their arrest? Why were government officials involved in the customs and Excise recruitment stampede not arrested or prosecuted? Why were the organisers of events in Abuja and Okija where stampedes also occurred not arrested by the police? A case of cherry picking? Were the people arrested regarding the Ibadan stampede arrested because an individual among them once criticised the Tinubu government? There is God oo!
