Carmen, the ones before us haven't really left .... they've only just gone on ahead to prepare the great celebration for when we all reunite again one day ! Hope you take joy and great pride for the great music your dad gave to this world. I don't know if he/you were aware but his tune *_"Black Is The Colour"_* was one of the great jazz-funk classics that us *_"London Soul Boys"_* use to dance to in the UK clubs back in the 70s /80s. I was only a teenager at the time .... but wise enough to know great music when I heard it. Now 60 years young and this cut still sounding great in 2024 ! Blessings

This track style is quite unique...even for the disco era but there is something similar Idris Muhammad - Could Heaven Ever Be Like This RAH Band - Falcon rha band - downside up D.C.LaRue - Indiscreet Sister sledge - lost in music remix Loleatta Holloway - Love Sensation ... but in my opinion none of them reaches the class of this track despite its disco sound at the same BPM EDIT: Nicola Conte - Kind of sunshine gabor szabo - Sophisticated Wheels Chairmen Of The Board - 01 - Everybody Party All Night Isaac Hayes - Shaft
