Hello everyone! Yes we did a sound check and everything was good but the singers were not there. When I turned around I asked the singers could they hear. I then begin to respectfully communicate with the sound tech and then I was disrespected. I walked off smiling to keep myself calm lol. I walked over to my MD and said “this nigga about to bring the Detroit out of me pray” 😂 I then walked back to the mic and pushed through the set anyway not being able to hear. I hope that brings clarity to all the questions ❤️

This is becoming the norm in certain black churches. A lot of money invested in a Soundsystem, but the soundman/men don’t know what they’re doing. On top of, not all singers, but certain singers don’t respect the fact that you’re doing a concert, there needs to be a check. Don’t just assume everything is OK. When it comes to Tasha, she handled it with class and dignity, and kept it holy.

He was out of order. You remain professional and acknowledge the request. Try to adjust and work through it. First mistake was having a sound check with no singers. People have paid money for the concert. Get past your feelings and get it right. Tasha had every right to ask the sound to get right. Also, several comments stated that the sound wasn't right all night. Everyone can't be lying.

And if what led up to this didn't happen on stage, then I refuse to judge this man until I know what happened behind the scenes. After he said that I stopped recorded and started back recording when she gave her testimony but there were several issues with the sound that plays out in the video when her track didn’t play

First of all Ninja…What she or ANY OTHER ARTIST there to minister to the people would WANT YOU TO DO IS YOUR JOB!!! All of the POTENTIAL technical difficulties should have been worked out BEFORE the artist/minister arrived and certainly BEFORE they take the stage or pulpit!!! Second, sound-person, you should NOT be in a job in which you don’t know how to perform/execute and be able to make adjustments on the ready…on the fly…as you go!!! Apparently that outfit was so busted that they didn’t even have a backup mic 🎤 to offer to even TRY to rectify the problem. He’s just content to stand or sit back there and take in the aesthetic of LOOKING LIKE A BONA FIDE PROFESSIONAL SOUND/AUDIO-VISUAL ENGINEER…But his real slim-shady showed up this time and now the gig is up…because now everybody in that room knows just how unqualified he is!!! Those jobs often require an advanced level of understanding with regard to the plethora of types of sound equipment one might have to handle that are often used in/on these kinds of venues. So, instead of being polite and professional about the mishap - LIKE MS. PAGE-LOCKHART DEMONSTRATED - he (MR. SOUND-MAN) decides to throw a low-key tantrum…and all he has to offer her, and a room/auditorium full of people is WHAT HE CAN’T DO…and a “I DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO…”. WHAT???!!!
