The late, lamented Jerry Wexler said that the way to recognize a musical genius is the distance between that artist and whoever is number two. When NRBQ plays, you can't even see number two with a telescope. They rock so hard you wonder what keeps the building intact. Every time I went to see them play (and it was many, many times), my face would be sore for days afterward because I had been grinning so hard all night. Thanks for posting this.
