One of those iconic songs. Does not get better than this!

OMG I LOVE Bill WIthers! He was such an amazing person too. At the time this song was written he was married to a pretty actress who was on tv (I think Room 222?) and that marriage didn't last, he wasn't the Hollywood type - and I believe this song is about her - but look it up. This is SUCH a great song. I had a crush on Withers for many years - he left the music biz at the height of his fame to be with his wife and kids. Very romantic. A good guy. There was a good documentary about him in 2009 called Still Bill - well worth seeing!!! Grandma's Hands, Just the Two of Us, Ain't No Sunshine.. etc. GREAT reaction!!!!

James Gadson on drums. Really entertaining just to watch him play. In his 80s now.

You should also listen to Aaron Neville's version of Use Me. Aaron's version is a little more New Orleans. Both are equally amazing.

Well, I'm one of those people who have never heard this song. I am, of course familiar with Bill Withers though. Amazing vocals. Thank you.

Cindy, I’m sorry to hear about John Mayall today. I know you are a big fan of his. He will be missed. 🙏
@cindyfalstrom72312 ай бұрын
@@realbser1956 Thanks for thinking of me. Yes I am a huge fan of British blues/rock. Sad to lose Mayall, but he was 90, and was certainly able to look back on his contributions with satifaction. My favorite Bluesbreakers song is "Supernatural" because of the amazing guitar solo of another of my favorites, Peter Green. I wonder if Chod has covered this song, I should have looked, but I kind of doubt it as it's perhaps too obscure. Perhaps I should request it, but probably won't. Don't do that much anymore. Cheers ✌

Jose Feliciano does a version of this song that is smokin' hot. I remember many years ago he sang it on the Mike Douglas Show when he was the guest host for a week. All these years later I still haven't forgotten it

I think he had issues with copyright strikes and the channel was taken down for months. He was in YT jail so now he needs to stop but I agree he probably does not need to stop as often as he is doing.
