This is interesting, considering that there were some "differences of opinion" between Billy Bragg and Wilco about the project. This I read in Greg Kot's book about Wilco and in Jeff Tweedy's autobiography. Per Wikipedia, 'Tempers flared between Bragg and Wilco after the album was completed. Bennett believed that Bragg was overproducing his songs, a sharp contrast to Wilco's sparser contributions. Bennett called Bragg about the possibility of remixing Bragg's songs, to which Bragg responded "you make your record, and I'll make mine, fcker." ' Still, it looks like they're having great fun doing this. Ps. Pay attention to Glenn's drumming.

Nah, I don’t care for the Farm Aid version and Bennett just bothers me. I know he was a great musician, but Jeff was right to give him the boot. I prefer the later lineups, and I don’t care if I’m the only one who does. I still like the older songs of course; I like most of the songs off every one of their albums. Jeff Tweedy is just a great singer, songwriter, and musician. He could do an acoustic solo set and it’d be amazing.
