Bad fold. Nut straight. If he has 65, 55, 88 so be it but more likely a A6, 76 or a single 7. 88 would probably raise pre.

That's a standard fold and if you are always calling anyways I might as well invite you at my home game

@@jhony4474 well. He is playing in a game where someone is shoving with 83s. He also said that he has been playing against this opponent before and he is superaction. When he also calls the 4-bet (instead of 5 bet) he doesn’t eliminate sets but increases the likelyhood of having a single 6 or a 7 (as these would never 5 bet in these spots). Mariano would need to call 3725 into a pot of 11150 and needs to be right 25% of the cases to be profitable. Easy call in this game (not against internet pros)

I really enjoy the fast pace of your videos. You don't get bogged down with extensive GTO analysis. Most of us viewers play in games where exploitive play works better than GTO so your videos help us where it counts. In this video, I learned to sometimes pot control with the top pair by checking the flop rather than the turn.

yea so i stopped the video at the A6 hand and well, if shes like "i dont know what to do" " i dont wanna fold" bla bla bla and then moves all in, this should be in general pretty huge tell about her having a monster like set or A8. I doubt very much that she has some big draw like 9d7d, should be a made hand. I think sometimes she can have bottom two, but that does not feel like "strong enough" for the whole speech. Mariano when you have 97o and you 3-bet the turn on a board of 6658 (2 clubs), your opponent snap calls your 3-bet - that’s usually indicative of a draw. When opponent raises you on river, that’s a call. How many full houses are snap calling the turn? They would at least take their time before calling or raising.

9,7 why do we re-raise on the turn (thinking we have the best hand) to fold the river when a brick hits? Having such a deguised hand you more likely to get over pairs and missed draws vs full houses.

Aint no one jamming an overpair on that board on the river. Its either nuts/fullhouses/bluffs The opponent having a real hand A-7 here shows he is a real fish, you've gotta be calling the river there most times otherwise you're turning your hand into a bluff

You gotta work that 97 hand out better brother. As the preflop aggressor, you should always have an overpair with continued strength on the turn and river. Would villain really try and push yout out of the pot with a full house on turn? No. Semibluff putting pressure on all 1 pair hands which is what you will almost always have. He definitely thought he had best hand on river since he is blocking the straight with his seven. I actually thought villain had 77. That's one you should have snapped off but none of us are perfect!

On the 79 hand..isn't it hard to fold in that spot? Like he specifically needs to have pocket 5s or 8s to have the boat. And hands like 56, 68, 46 isn't as likely? Even before villain showed his hand, I was thinking he can possibly have a straight or overplaying 3 of a kind. If you know your opponent is an action player, I just think it's way harder to put him on a boat.
