Lived in the Kenai/Soldotna area for most of my younger years and seeing a youtuber on the Kenai River where I fished a lot is kinda weird, and also nostalgic too. Brown bears are pretty common on the river, most of the time we move away from them though. Last thing you'd want is a momma bear getting angry at you, lol! We often did salmon and king salmon fishing, and would smoke them in our ghetto file cabinet smoker. It was the best smoked fish I ever had, fond memories of my childhood unlocked, thanks :)

I was near the highway yes. Just down to the river a bit near the Ferry crossing.
