Wild Bass Afternoon Bite - BCF Pryml HD330 sessions

Went looking for an afternoon bite in the BCF - Boating, Camping, FishingPryml HD330 inflatable kayak. Zman baby Goat, lightly weighted weedless had the most luck, the fish were not in a top water-feeding mood. The extra stealth of the inflatable material I believe helps a lot in skinny water like this where fish are easily spooked.

As with any inflatable the compromise to that weight saving is that wind is not so favourable particularly when only lightly loaded - it has a 7” fin which helps and the motor if you fit one will certainly offset the wind. Only time wind was a hindrance to me was when drifting not so much when paddling so I used a small sea anchor / parachute to slow me down. Hope that helps, no matter which craft you get there will be a compromise somewhere it’s just about choosing one that has compromises for the things that are less important to your needs

Qhat method did you ise for the additional rib ports? Did you put glue on the kayak or use some sort of adhesive tape?

Glued them on mate following the direction of the RAILBLAZA instructions. You need to glue them to get a proper fit

@@PaddleGuy1 I seen one video where it had a double sided tape but yea others where you tape off the area, sand it and apply the adhesive. I wish it came stock with 3 or 4 ports.

@@yep.fishing 3M VHB tape that comes with them is very much only for flat surfaces and light duty applications - any surface with a curvature of any sort needs to be glued - I got a pvc repair kit from Whitworths which has lasted me like 7 or 8 RIBPort installs on various things. RB cant send the glue with the RIBPorts due to freight restrictions when moving chemicals like glue-- adds a whole lot more cost and logistics to the product that would make it none viable for a consumer to purchase. hope that makes sense
