I remember when this place was The Smoky Mountain Pancake House. The restaurant and hotel have been there forever. I remember going there when I was a kid. Great memories! Oh, and I love a good German restaurant!

Thanks for your 101 on German cuisine. Everything looked absolutely delicious. Like you, Christy, I haven't had a large German pretzel in years. As for the other selections, I have to admit that I have hardly had any German cuisine, but I hope to change that after viewing this video. Thanks for the culinary journey and God bless.

Hofers for breakfast and baked goods. Bratwurst gravy there is amazing! But for dinner Bodansee is our place. 😊

I have bypassed this place many times. Wrong atmosphere for German Food. My wife would not be open to it, so It’s a pass.

That was our opinion. The atmosphere wasn’t very authentic for German but the food was great!
