Magpies are like more colorful crows--love her blue wings and iridescent green tail (but why did it seem shorter in some shots? Tail feathers fell off?). Both are in the corvid family (so are blue jays), so they're also wonderfully smart also.

Sunny cannot be released. Since she was rescued so young, she will have imprinted on her human carers and be unable to survive in the wild. This is also why zoo and circus animals are released into sanctuaries. They would quickly sicken and die alone in the wild.
