Wild camp at Bamford Edge, U.K in a Hilleberg Nallo 2

First time #wildcamping in the Hilleberg Nallo 2 as a hot tent. Windy wet conditions on #bamfordedge Our Gortex jackets failed and we got completely soaked while #hiking as we didn’t know that you had to maintain them.
The #Hilleberg Nallo 2 was a bit flappy in the wind but that’s the price you pay for the half a kilo weight saving over a dome style tent. Every negative has a positive and every positive has a negative.
I highly recommend the Tomount #foldingtentstove The intention was to heat the tent but we actually managed to do a bit of #outdoorcooking It’s Pricey but very well made. The fold out chimney is pure genius. It’s a nightmare to set up the first time so I recommend doing it at home the first time using a pipe to roll the foil around for initial shaping.
There was a pile of rubbish at a Forrest 15 minutes from #bamfordedge it was camping gear that people had dumped. Absolutely disgusting! People need to be shamed for littering in the #ukcountryside

How did you stop the stove glue melting the tent? I’ve got the tens and didn’t know you could use it as a hot tent.

There is a special clamp which goes in the zip around the door. This goes in the zip path, holds the tent out the way and the chimney goes through the middle. They are on EBay and Amazon, I’ll show it set up in the next video.

Any chance you can post a link to the adapter you’ve mentioned please? I’ve had a look on EBay and Amazon but I can’t find anything. A link to the burner would be good as well if possible. Cheers 🍻
