Been a while since I have been out and about. It was nice to be out in the countryside again and I hope to be around more.

Hi Phil. Not an area I'm familiar with, but looks great👍 Nice evening view of the bright lights of Lancashire and I bet you'd get an epic sunset given better weather! Nice one! ATB👍

Hi Des - all I seem to get whan able to get out is rain and mist - but sure will get a sunset and sunrise soon

Langden Castle - I've been up there a few times. Those arched jamb stones in the building seem very out of place for such a remote spot. Apparently it's on the old original track way from the Ribble Valley to Lancaster and some have speculated that Langdon Castle fits the "dark foreboding place" mentioned in Arthurian legend for the location for the Green Chapel where Gawain fought the Green Knight.
