Hi Shaun what an upload this is! AWESOME Mate! I could feel your concern up at the top, I would be exactly the same lol but you really showed us something here buddy. Nice to see the trusty Vango out in these parts too. Cant get over how good those views are. Well done mate :) Tim/Mandy

Thanks guys. It was an awesome trip, if not a little unnerving at times. The views were amazing though, something really special. Yeah the Vango is a great tent, especially for the relatively small price tag. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

French Pyrenees, very nice and them views, as well as the weather, were absolutly superb. Well you certainly beat Ben Nevis and at 2K meters plus and carring a camping bag as well, impressive stuff! Lucky with your bag mind but what a view from the Vango - stunning! If you have to get wet boots, a day like that and on the way back was the way to do it lol! Great watch, cheers Alan

Thanks Alan. The scenery was breathtaking mate. Nearly as breathtaking as was watching my bag tumble down the side of a mountain! Lol 😂 I've never been so relieved as I was when that mound stopped it. Yeah the wet feet weren't wet for long in that weather. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

Good deal on the transport, awesome mountains, fortunate with your sack and what with that carcass I think the bird may have been a vulture. Awesome trip Shaun - loving it. My brother and myself were getting our heads around hiking the Pyrenees - sadly it wasn't meant to be but I will go out there one day and emulate this adventure. All the best. Mark

You have shown some beautiful places in your videos Shaun but that must be the most idyllic scenery yet. I'm somewhat disappointed you didn't give us a few songs from the Sound of Music😆

Yeah it was absolutely stunning Vinnie. I am afraid my singing is so pure that any living creatures mind would instantly be blown on hearing the beauty of my voice, only angels can handle it. With this in mind, I keep my singing prowess a secret so to not harm anyone. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

Cracking views there mate, my phone says its only in 720p, but the picture looks brilliant, what equipment you using? Atb Chris
@BASHADweller5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Chris. I have two cameras that I use a Canon SX60 HS & a Go Pro Hero 7. I think I shot the vast majority of this, if not all the footage that made the cut on the Go Pro. It has built in stabilisation so gets rid of the shakiness. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

Bloody hell, now an international man of mystery ! Looks brilliant mate and I agree about the extra weight of bevvy being worth it. Was discussing it last night on a wild camp in much less salubrious surroundings (Devilla forest). Hope you're having a good exped/jolly/whatever you wanna call it.
@BASHADweller5 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate. Yeah beer is always worth the extra weight, plus it's a lot lighter in the morning. Devilla isn't a bad alternative. Definitely a jolly :) Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

@BASHADweller4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jared. I didn't quite summit it to be honest, looked a bit sketchy to push on when on me tod but the mountain was called L'Embarrere (2221 Metres), I got to about 2060 metres. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

Absolutely outstanding Shaun what a trip I bet your well pleased with this one , when I mentioned about the isle of Skye to you when you do go there you'll find that the mountain tops are very similar in shape just not as high but still awesome excellent video thanks for sharing
@BASHADweller5 жыл бұрын
Yeas mate, very pleased to have had the opportunity to experience the Pyreness. Truly stunning landscape. The Isle of Skye will be happening soon, so keep an eye out! :) Unfortunately, I'll be leaving Scotland soon so I need to bag 50 Munros before I go and those 11 will get me nearly there. If I get over 50 it will make me want to come back and get the rest over time. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun
@normanscout11485 жыл бұрын
@@BASHADweller there's 11 Munro's on Skye there's 12 if you bag the inaccessible pinnacle this ridge is acknowledged as the hardest to attain so good luck Shaun go for it as with all the other Munro's
@BASHADweller5 жыл бұрын
As someone who struggles with height, the inaccessible pinnacle worries me. I may have to skip it and come back with a guide one day if I ever bag them all. I'll probably leave that until last. Atb Shaun
@normanscout11485 жыл бұрын
@@BASHADweller it's commonly known as the in-pin if height bothers you DON'T DO IT very exposed unless your a confident scrambler otherwise a guide with ropes and slings will be the best option stay safe Shaun I will look forward to the forthcoming video's

Bloody Hell!! Just been doing some research for my trip to Skye, the Black Cuillin Ridge looks well outside of my comfort zone and possibly fitness levels. Watched a few videos and I felt dizzy never mind doing it! lol :). I'm still going but I think I'll just bag a few of the more easier Munros on the ridge rather than doing the whole thing. I'll also take in some of Red Cuillin Ridge. I'll have to man up a little and hire a guide in the future to do the whole ridge. Atb Shaun
