I've been watching these videos for a while now. At first, I wasn't sure how I felt about there being no commentary, but I have since come to truly appreciate the language that nature speaks as you hike in, set up camp, and join in the transformation that unfolds in the wilderness. It makes the whole experience more meaningful because it mirrors so well what solo backpackers go through as they quiet themselves and let the trail do the talking. I absolutely love your attention to detail in how you shift the camera angles. You seem to know intuitively how to weave a narrative with the images. In the simple things - feeding your dog, setting up your tent, throwing a steak and potatoes on the fire, brewing some tea, and sitting back to take in the beauty of the mountains - you pull us away from the chaos and confusion of everyday life and allow us to breathe once more. Just a really fine job of putting this all together as you celebrate the thing you love to do so well. Hike on! Peace!

Next time try roasting the meat with the coals, it comes red and seasoned only with crushed salt. I guarantee it will be excellent! And another suggestion: don't press the seasoning against the meat, as it ends up creating a thin layer that prevents a good roast. Success!
