Good to see the camp was still there & undiscovered by anyone . Accidents do happen no matter how careful you are ,lucky you carry a first aid kit .Another great camp with your best friend Mr Roney. I have one of those little boom box but only plays music (no light) .

What a cracking return camp, including a peed up tree !!!! Great to see they have not found and took the camp down, I hope Lincoln was not too hasty in removing his camp, why we have to worry I don’t know ,it’s just middle aged or older me and Rooney lol messing in the forest causing no harm, anyway nice to see not many midges out, I may return for a camp as it’s been a while, fancy the hammock a second time ! Well chuffed to see the camp standing proud. Once had similar wound but a tad deeper. Was fine til 4 days later and i ripped the whole thing off tying up a boot lace in an urgent rush. Plenty air to it but still shield it would be my advice from experience not qualifications or iq though!

@@LundysWildcampBushcraft well I wouldn't say just a scratch mate jts a proper wound. Mine was a tad further down nail and it cut through that. When the boot lace ripped it off i realised it was dead anyway and would have came off naturally while it healed, i think i just gave the process a kick up the arse😆

I bet that thumb of yours throbbed something awful. Did something similar myself a year or so ago, but was due to fatigue, did too much knife work, tried to rush to finish a task, got careless and the rest is history. I now realise when enough is enough and rest. The Lantern would be even better if it had red and green light options. The Bluetooth speaker sounds as though it is quality, but it's a hefty price tag for what it is. Out in the Jungle, they make those PEE troughs with hollow bamboo shoved into the ground. Absolutely essential if you have a few beer swilling Roney's about. 😉 Imagine if someone stumbled across you two out there at night with those Disco Lights flashing - they'd think they'd come across Harwood's version of Close Encounters of the Geordie Kind. 👀😁
