Maramures and Transilvania are the most picturesque areas in Romania and the most popular among tourists for a good reason. Good to hear locals can live with peace with the bears! Bears are magnificant creatures and luckily usually very afraid of humans.

Great video, Vantastic! Looking forward to your next upload. I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! The way you described the camping and food experiences in Romania was truly captivating. Hello. I am a long time subscriber. I live in Caransebes. I saw that you were in the area where I live. If you want, my wife and I would be happy for you to visit us. We also love camping, hiking and traveling with our car, which we have converted into a camper. Kind regards.

Love your videos ❤ was it in Romania you had to put on snowchains when you got stuck in a snowy road a few years ago ?🤔🥰

Thanks for travelling with us all these years, we remember your username from our older vlogs! ❤️I I think we had to use snow chains in Greece when it was very slippery in thw mountains, but we are not sure because it was so long time ago. Glad to hear you are back with the crew, fasten your seatbealt and we are ready to drive (maybe to next country...?)

A lovely video! I burst out laughing when you referred to the free “campsite” being quiet because of old people being there 😂😂 and am curious to know roughly what age they were?? One minute, I was in my forties and all of a sudden, by complete surprise, I had my 60th birthday this year, yet I don’t feel like to 60yr olds I saw when I was 40 😂😂 Age is so strange and while our bodies may show signs physically, our minds and outlook remain (mostly!) the same… I’d love to visit Romania but am scared about bears attacking me and my dogs!! I wonder if I’ve left it too late to visit later this month?? (Weather).

It gets wet and boggy in Romania during autumn, but it totally depends on the year. It can be sunny and warm for a long time too. Good rule of thumb is, if Transfagarasan pass is still open, it is very likely to be an okay weather in the mountains too (at least in the day time). You are totally okay in Romania with your doggies. Just don't let them free roam after sunsets in bear regions. We always sing or hymn out loud when we walk in a forests to scare the bears. We only saw bears in a very spesific area where people/tourists have fed the wild bears and they unfortunately became tame and not afraid of people. So encountering a bear in Romania is very unlikely! Free campsite people were seniors, like in their 80s or something. We love how they still go out caravanning and enjoying simple things in the nature! Getting old is strange, sometimes we feel like we're in our 80s too (especially after hiking! 😆)

Unfortunately it is illegal in Denmark.😭😭 Fortunately we don't have any bears.😂😂
