Wild Camping in Scotland | Galloway Forest | Loch Doon Trying some new gear | Ancient Castle

This was our first visit to this area and it certainly wont be our last . my only issue was the amount of fire pits i just dont know why people insist on making a new pit when there is one already a few inches away . There is also great access to the water if you like to do water sports ie Kayak or SUP

just went wild camping at the weekend and went to Loch Doon and im sure we found the exact same spot but didn't camp there as so many fire pits, rubbish, and a human dump in the bushes. We went back to Raiders Road and the Otter Pools. Those sticky toffee are amazing by the way :D

Loch Doon is close to us and we paddle there quite often. The cycling is also good around there. The Roundhouse is good for coffee and food.
