Hi Alan. I have the EuroHike Avon 3 DLX and I have to say that thing has taken absolute pasting! I'm really proud of it. So, it seems the EuroHke range as a whole seem really sturdy. The only drawback I can see with the Tamar 2 is that the door is at a 45 degree angle with no cover. Other than that it looks a beaut of a tent, fair play. I'm really loving the vids by the way. Where do you order your alloy poles from please? Really enjoying your videos down to earth and like myself using affordable gear. I mix bike packing and back packing. only used campsites so far. Another great vlog Taff, Like you I'm building my gear as I go along I bought the flexigear mini pump last month. I have a gas stove and a Trangia burner that I take just in case. I have a wife and two kids (none of them like the outdoors) Like you I prefer camping in the woods or near a stream rather than the hills ( i've climbed many of them in the Lake and Peak districts when I was a lot younger.
