i finally got my cloud peak taff and i agree with you the zip snags on the door flap as your getting out so yes i stick my arm through to stop it but yes i would rather go in winter camps in the tamar i allso luv that tent i would say it is warmer but the thing is with the cloud peak 2 you won,t get condensation as much as you get in the eurohike but i can,t wait to go on my first wild camp in it

Great video, cloud peak is a great tent. I owned it for 3 years. I've moved on to some professional tents now but have great memories in the cloud peak. Thanks for sharing

Taff I have a Tamar 2 it’s certainly not a summer tent to hot, but get sticky back Velcro for the door flaps and run it all the way up works wonders .

I watched a video the other day with the cloud peak 2 in heavy snow. The guy stated it was great. Billy Connolly once remarked it's only cold if you aren't dressed appropriately rings true. Thanks for the comparison.

I have the Tamar 2 Taff and like you I prefer it over the Cloud peak 2 from what I have seen - the only pluses for the cloud peak is the aluminium poles and tent pegs. Space the Tamar 2 hands down. Like you say I've never had a problem with condensation. Price difference is apparent but I would only use a Cloud Peak 2 if I was given one or won it via a giveaway.

all thou the cloud peak 2 is my next tent i would say i like the tamar 2 i little more and for one reason the cloud peak has got to much netting i would say when i get my cloud peak im going to use it in 3 season camps and go for the tamar for the rainy ones because you can,t knock the eurohike in rainy camps i don,t know we will see which one i like best because i have never tryed the cloud peak so ill let you know as soon as i do but good review i enjoyed that one

Hi taff how you doing mate. I had the tamar 2 when I first started wild camping back in January this year It was brilliant in the wind and rain since then I upgraded to the oex phoxx 2 V2 but I'm always tempted to buy it again I do miss it

@@taffsdestination2369 I've just bought a vango mirage 200 old version for the winter I do alot of mountain camps (lake district) so I need a tent to withstand the worst of the weather but for the money the eurohike tamar 2 is a great tent for anyone starting out or some people have had them for years I'm always tempted to buy another its bring back memories of my first wild camp.

i took the plunge and bought the cloud peak 2 , after only one trip i wished i hadn`t . i hate the new door setup , what on earth were Naturehike thinking?? the old "T" shaped door was what i was expecting as i`d seen tonnes of video`s and liked the concept , after only one trip my door is stained with grass (as you trample the thing getting in and out) footprints and curry stains!! . I am going to try and clean it as best i can and then flog the thing , awful tent! ,not as good as my 10 year old banshee
