Nicely done and a good watch - the 'what I learned' was very useful, particularly footwear/blisters and heavier than usual loads when backpacking. Cheers

Thanks for the comment - I made the mistake of wearing some boots that I don't normally wear that often. You need to know that your boots/shoes are comfortable over a good few miles. The midge repellent is a must too at certain times of year.

Excellent video. We've wild camped the PW twice but it's always good to see other possible camping spots for next time. It eventually gets a hold on you and you can't leave it alone! Done the coast to coast but it's not so good for wild camping. The streams on the N York moors are the colour of coca cola! It's the PW for us.

Beautifully shot and very entertaining. Definitely inspired me to get some of the Pennine Way ticked off.

I could see my home in the distance before you reached the White House.... Those moors can be very bleak, glad to see it wasn't raining or windy for you.

Really nice video! Thanks. Might just help me decide to go for the wild camping as an addition to my walks.

Hi Tom, Being able to decide where and when you will stop for the night is great - I love the independence it gives you.

Hi buddy, what weight was your pack, how did you find it. I did the PW back in 1995
@Allan99662 жыл бұрын
It's a few years ago and I certainly can't remember the weight of my pack. The things I remember was it was pretty hot, the ground was nice and dry and not boggy like it sometimes is and I was plagued by midges when I was cooking. A good experience though.
