purposely waited for this game to go on sale $20 (non-deluxe and season pass) and the wait was well worth it. your review is spot on. it's very arcade-like but with an ultimate team twist and there are NO microtransactions, which is so refreshing. the wild card aspect makes it different and fresh with some strategy involved. even better you can play with or without cards. no complaints here. just wish, with no NFL license, we could have had much more customization (create-a-player, create-a-stadium, create logos, uniforms, etc.) and editing existing teams names and colors. you can edit your own playbooks and wild card decks, which is pretty cool. berman gives it a nice old school touch too. thanks saber interactive/sandbox for coming out with a game that doesn't depend on microtransactions. MAYBE saber interactive will reward dedicated players with the legacy players (as a bonus payable DLC) later in the future. makes sense to add them to pre-order only but give us late bloomers at shot at them. we'll gladly pay and not complain about that.

You mean like player stats? Yes they all have ratings for speed, passing, catching, etc.

Okay. I bought it and yikes. It’s incredibly fast. I love the art. The animations. Simplicity of plays. But it’s over before I even blink. I don’t know who’s done what. So the notion of swapping player, choosing to swat or intercept. This seems hardcore, for the diehard American sports / NFL fans. Take a little pace off and it would be a cracking pick up & play game. There should be an option for this in easy/custom mode (by all means offline and restrict some trophies).

I'm liking the game so far and first thing I did was season mode with no wild cards. That said I actually really like the wild cards so I'm gonna have a season with them on as well! Also nice video and good work on this one!

I don't think you can edit the existing teams at all, just your own in Dream Squad.

This reminds me of the way we used to play football back in the way back machine. We had cards or read this long card against your opponent. I forgot the name of the football board game. No no, Dream Team definitely has online matches! You even rank up divisions the more wins that you get. Very much an online competitive game mode!

I don't actually know. I honestly wasn't too concerned with it. Colin Kaepernick is just about the least interesting part of this game for me. I was very impressed that they have the actual NFL rosters.
