Another cool aspect is that even if you if you have the fastest board, it doesn't mean you will definitely win. These things can get out of control fast and being able to stabilize and feel turns is a real skill.

I went for the S1 , Lifer. Did lot's of research, and seems like the safest, of this kind and style. Bought it from Skate Hut, as I am in the UK. I would like to buy a SL retro full face. TSG make some nice looking helmets too. Safety is key right. I may buy a modep retro style, like the S1 Retro style.. Though a lot of guys have the full cover, which protetcs the chin, which is proabaly a good idea, epescially for speed. At the moment I am cruising and carving : ) Happy Skating! : )

Never too old!! I know people with these boards over 60, also one who it nearly 70 and uses it as a mobility method! He says it has changed his life and given him his freedom back 😍. The person who was second most the race really wanted that!! His wheels were more for a drag race, i have n eskateboard n they pick up alot of speed but they dont do well turning, unlike the others that have such amazing grip for sharper turns

The difference is the evolve guys rented that track out for a few days and had tons of practice. I was on a board In only rode for maybe 30 minutes the night before a few hot laps the day of. Thus why I look at it and see I didn't have the apex's down right.

The Evolve World Cup, first two days (off road & street) are evolve boards only. This was the 3rd day which was a wild card event where any board can enter. Was still very interesting as the stooge boards which are much faster didn’t win!
